Formerly GOLD COAST, independent from March 6th, 1957. A republic within the
British Commonwealth (see GREAT BRITAIN (U.K.)) since July 1st, 1960.
First stamps issued in 1957. Several indirect UPU memberships, direct as Ghana
since October 10th, 1957. Annual output about 170. |
