Information
A Post Office of POLAND operated in the town of Odessa on the Black Sea, in 1919
at the time of the ongoing civil war between Russian Bolsheviks and the White
Russians. As regular postal routes ceased to operate, mail was shipped from
Odessa via the Mediterranean Sea to Poland on the Baltic Sea. Stamps were issued
in 1919.
