income is from phosphates of lime.
Formerly under foreign administrations of STRAITS SETTLEMENTS and the colony of
SINGAPORE. Since 1958 belonging to AUSTRALIA, when also first stamps were
issued. Prior to that stamps of the various administrations were in use. Annual
output about 15.
